GEM OF A PLACE HIGHLY RECOMMEND Food was out of this world local produce, beautifully presented and so tasty. Lovely selection of beers and wine. Views of fjord from inside (lots of windows) and outside terrace that sits on the water/fjord that wraps around building. A unique and personal hotel with lots of character and gorgeous decor. Rooms individually decorated and very cosy and comfortable. Staff unbelievably friendly. We did the floating sauna and swim 2 mins down the road and the glacier museum.

It's a most generously and luxuriously appointed mountain lodge situated on a beautiful hill close to the Sogndal village. We were a family of 9 and it was a most spacious and comfortable stay for all of us in spite of our large number. The host Janne and Lars are super responsive and generous with their offering. The lodge has everything that you can think of..outdoor seating, large terrace, music system, fireplace with wood available, superbly equipped kitchen with all the basic food items that you will need, a large collection of cutlery and crockery for all needs. Want to come again during the ski season to fully enjoy this luxurious home. I can go on and on...

Wow, amazing view, amazing apartment. Very clean and very nice furnished apartment with everything you need for a good stay. Really peaceful surroundings, loved it. Easy entrance by using a code for getting the key. I really like that. It's very handy.

Very spacious apartment. The sauna is wonderful, especially after a long walk in cold weather. The sauna heats up very quickly. The apartment is well equipped. I don’t think we missed anything. There is even a drying rack for clothes. Beautiful lake, impressive glaciers nearby.
