Great restaurant and hotel near to the Ambulawawa observation tower. The owner is very polite and helpful, he shows us around and shows everything, he also cooks great. We are very pleased, there is a family atmosphere and many very nice decorations handmade by the owner, which gives this place a unique atmosphere. Here is private parking for our tuk tuk as well. If you are going to the observation tower, this is a great place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Dammika and the staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything I needed, which made me feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, each meal was a treat. On top of that, the view from my room was stunning, adding an extra touch of relaxation to my stay. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at Liyara Villas. The area was quiet, peaceful, very close to a Buddhist temple. The apartment was confortable, very clean. The hosts were really kind and helpful - they prepared dinner for us, as all the restaurants were closed due to Public Holiday. Thank You so much for a fantastic time at Gampola!

This place was absolutely amazing! A spacious house with three beautiful bedrooms, a stunning living room, and a lovely garden – all spotless, fresh, and perfectly maintained. Fans in every room made it super comfortable. The host was the best we met during our time in Sri Lanka – so kind, caring, and welcoming. She truly made our stay unforgettable. Wonderful small hotel that make us feel like home. Very peaceful and with an incredible view of the mountains. They upgraded us to the suite for free, which was very very good. Very attentive employees. I wish we could have stayed longer!! I highly recommend it!

We loved the views, the service and the ‘home away from home’ feel. The hotel manager was absolutely incredible and the best host we have had in Sri Lanka. Thanks for having us! Just note the accomodation is quite far away from Nuwara Eliya town, and is more of a remote getaway.
