The service was excellent. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and attended quickly to all our needs. The independent surfing instructors were great too! We loved our room as well particularly the balcony. The location is amazing, just a few steps from a smooth sandy beach with the perfect waves for all levels of surfers. The water is shallow for a long way in without any rocks which makes it ideal for families with younger kids.

Animals Ahangama is an absolute gem. The boutique design is stunning — cozy, stylish, and full of character. It truly feels like a home away from home. We are a family - a couple of parents and four children. We were able to book through Booking only one room. Near the arrival we contacted the hotel and they helped us and gave us another room. The rooms are spacious and pleasant, the bathroom is large and bright. The hotel has a pool and the children enjoyed swimming in it. In addition, the hotel restaurant offers delicious and unique dishes, but above all the management team and employees are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel is excellent, we enjoyed being close to the sea (on foot) and close to various restaurants.

The villa very close to the Welligama beach which is ideal if you want to have some drinks with some breeze looking at surfers or book some surfing lessons (well worth it!). There are also a number of food courts. Most importantly, the staff make you feel very welcome. Not only do they provide good service (what you expect from a Villa), but they are also observant and friendly. Even though we went as a couple, I think this Villa is well worth for Families, friends or solo travelers because of the friendly staff and the beautiful location. The Breakfast was amazing my stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The entire property felt well maintained. The Pool is cleaned frequently and nice. We definitely will return to this great Villa.
