beautiful location, very peaceful, lovely natural pool, river also runs by the property. The rooms were large and very comfortable,the ceiling fan worked very well,each room had it's own terrace with seating,my room even had a table and chairs to give me the option of eating there if I wanted to.The food was great, even enjoyed a BBQ with a lovely fire nearby, could be a lovely romantic evening had my husband traveled with me. Wonderful place for families or friends, there is a boat with paddles for hours of fun in the river. I spent four nights and it was very hard to leave such a beautiful place.

The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

A very unique experience to stay at this family run hotel. The experience of staying in the rainforest with the waterfall roaring next to us was great ambience. The food was home cooked and delicious. The staff were easy to contact and helpful with anything we needed.

If we could give it an 11 we would! One of the best places we have been! Peaceful and clean with amazing views right next to Sinharaja rainforest. Our hosts were just amazing - super helpful, respectful of privacy, delicious home cooked meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and really insightful (we recommend doing ALL the tours). We left feeling like part of their family! Thanks for having us!

The setting is extraordinary. It’s a 10min walk up the hill but it is worth it. The views are fantastic. The bungalow was wonderful with lots of interesting details. The service and hospitality were amazing. The food was great (the portions are huge!). Thank you for the interesting conversations and hopefully we (or at least one of our children) will meet again!

Our stay at Sinharaja Forest Lodge was truly relaxing. The lodge is surrounded by lush tea plantations and beautiful greenery, making it a perfect escape into nature. Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!

Staying at Sinharaja Rainforest Vibe was a wonderful experience. We had our own cozy villa just a few minutes’ walk from the entrance to Sinharaja Forest, which made it the perfect base for exploring the area. The owner, Danushke, is an experienced guide who organized amazing jungle treks for us, and he was always ready to help with anything we needed – from arranging transport to personally driving us himself. The meals were delicious. Together with his wife and sister, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. A warm and genuine hospitality that made our time here unforgettable.
