All staffs are very kind and they provided high quality of services. Onsen was great and also Kaiseki dinner was awesome and delicious. Stay at Okuno Hosomichi was an unforgettable time for us. Once stepping inside the room, i understood why their reviews are so good. Pictures on OTA don't show its charm enough. Literally a small apartment sized room with elegant-modern yet japanese style interior, compy bed, dining table with chairs and detailed amenities. Room temp can be controllable which is rare for Ryokans. A gentlemen showed us around whole facilities, asked us if we have any questions, took good time for greeting guest. It's hard to find a spacious room in Japan with limited budget, but this is exceptional. Most of all, hotel is in the center of town which is of up & down hills. Many of them. Pretty conveinient getting in and out of hotel to the hot springs and back to the room to relax. This is way better than the nearby ryokan I paid 3× more except there is no meal options.

Love the onsens. We managed to try 3 out of the 8 onsen during our one night trip. There were free flowing apple juice, coffee and hot choclate at the lobby. You can also asks staff to drive you to certain areas. Super convenient.

Everything exceeded my expectations. Breakfast room service is much better than getting up early to eat at a buffet during set hours. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

The hotel is an amazing place to relax and enjoy a short stay. The staff was friendly and warm. The room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The public bath was amazing with the wonderful view of colorful trees. The breakfast was amazing. We had a memorable stay in Arima onsen. Hope we can repeat it.
