We had a lovely 2-night stay at this beautifully renovated mansion. The photos just don;t do it justice! The spaces and decor are truly splendid and elegant, with a soft touch of coziness. The bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room just right and the bathroom spacious, with a large shower (bigger than usual). We really enjoyed the breakfast served by the owner, with high-quality products and very good Italian coffee. We are also grateful for the parking space provided inside the gated yard. We would come back during a more warmer time, to try the enticing swimming pool or, at least, the outside chairs.

The house is placed in a rural area, at about 45 minutes away of Firenze. It is very clean and has and old atmosphere that we really loved! Samuele, our host, helped us with places to see and was always ready to answer. They have been waiting us with a bottle of home-made olive oil that was really dealicious! The sunsets were magical and on the way to Pontassieve you can admire the hills of the vineyards in this area.

Great breakfast in a beautiful dining room. The whole place (including the restaurant in an old farm house down the road) is just oozing with charm. In my 3 months of travelling solo through Italy, this was the most beautiful accommodation I had! Perfectly renovated with all the modern features one wants in a bathroom for example but with wooden ceilings and beams, antiques etc. I only wished I had stayed longer! Only a 20 minute train ride from Florence and the hosts were always happy to drive me to the local train station or pick me up there. I can’t say enough good about the place, the hosts, the staff. This place is exceptional!
