We arrived in Falerna 2 hours prior to the check in time and we could not find a restaurant which was open so that we can have lunch. Luckily, as soon as we arrived to Calabrialcubo, Marco cooked us a delicious lunch, and treated me and my girlfriend really well. We had the suite over looking amazing views. I will definitely return during summer or hotter seasons. I recommend this place to anyone driving through this area and want to stop to rest a bit before continuing on their journey.

This place is amazing. Beautiful house on top of the hill. Everything here is nice and neat. Big garden with the gorgeous view. The owners are super sweet. Both speaking english, very well. The room was cool and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The host was extremely kind and helpful as was Silvia, the lady who helps. We are in the local pizzeria which was 20 min walk across the mountain. The people who worked there were also super friendly and helpful. The views from the terrace at breakfast were just stunning. We had a typical breakfast of bread, jams, honey, cakes and pancakes with freshly brewed coffee to order. Altogether a lovely stop in a beautiful, unspoilt part of Calabria

Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to meet the hosts; however, we must emphasize that the check-in instructions provided were exceptionally professional and detailed, which we really appreciated.
