Our experience at Sunsets and Palm Trees was nothing short of incredible. He was incredibly friendly, always available, and did everything possible to ensure we had the best experience. Even when we needed a last-minute additional booking, he made it happen effortlessly. Stunning place at the river. Comfortable room. Very friendly neighbours! Being a family who lives on the same plot and look after you. Extremely nice and easy going as is Cindu who cooked for us an excellent meal. The rent of the room is done by a company and makes it a bit confusing in communication on forehand.

Kannan and his family are simply delightful, taking a personal interest in every guest. It's still a new venture, so as yet there's no sign out on the road, and you will have to call for final directions when you arrive at thenearestintersection. But they are kind and gracious, in addition to which they serve delicious meals (which is helpful because dining options in the immediate vicinity are limited). Also, the location is somewhat remote, which is a significant plus if you want to avoid tourist areas and experience the life of ordinary Indians on the Malabar Coast.
