I strongly recommend visiting this island, which offers a much cleaner and more natural experience than the surrounding cities. We had a great time at the accommodation, the owner and his family live in the house next door, you can get delicious homemade food on request. We only spent 3 nights here, but we will definitely come again!

The host family are incredible. Welcoming, caring, kind souls. The river right in front is beautiful, also for swimming. The rooms and Bungalows are spotlessly clean and cared for. The homemade food is superb, I enjoyed it very much. I was sad to leave and will def go back. Thank you for everything :)

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The incredible homecooked food, the quiet calm of the surrounding nature, the sunrise canoe rides and the kindness of Uni and his family made this one of my favorite stays after a month of traveling India. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a very good time at Vishnu’s home stay. The food prepared and served was amazing. On top of it Vishnu took us for canoeing for a price and it was brilliant. He knows many ways inside the island and that made him show various places during canoeing. Thank you very much for all the hospitality and food and we definitely come back again.
