This is truly an exceptional stay and a very good value for money! The design and setting of the house was astonishing! Very well maintained building, with a unique architecture that makes you feel cherished and gives you privacy. A real cocoon in Cherai Beach. The patio in front of the room with view on the backwaters, is a perfect spot to chill out. A fan, comfortable seats and mosquito nets gives you a perfect ambiance to have a drink in the evening. The view on the chinese fish nets at the back and lakes is very refreshing! The caretaker Nagaraj was caring of all our needs in a very professional but also delicate way. The two breakfasts we had were so delicious with a mix of local dishes and western foods. Norbert helped us a lot to arrange our visit and thanks to all the team our trip was very smooth and relaxing. Definitely the best place to stay in Cherai! Thanks a lot Vala House, we will definitely come back if we get the chance!

I loved this place so much!!! The owners were so hospitable and just lovely!!! They brought me fruits and sweets! Incredibly comfy accommodation! Fantastic facitilities and great location!!! Everything was immaculate! They also helped me with booking transport! I stayed in the bamboo hut with a private terrace and lovely views of the beach! Such a lovely stay!! Thankyou!!!

An amazing experience! It was one of the best homestays I've ever stayed at! The hosts are lovely people, very welcoming and super friendly. The breakfasts are so tasty too! Gokhan was super helpful, showing me around the local area, ensuring I could work comfortably when I needed to,and even organising a scooter rental for me! Close to some incredible beaches and great restaurants too. The local area is stunning and easily accessible to all the main spots by foot. I highly recommend this hidden gem if you want peace, quiet, and amazing hospitality.

The homestay family is awesome, friendly and helpful. We felt like part of it. They have lots of useful tips for trips and answers to daily life in India. I recently had an incredible stay at Blue Bird Homestay near Cherai Beach, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail really made my visit feel special. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the things needed for a relaxing stay. The view from my room was stunning, and it was so peaceful that I could truly unwind. One of the highlights was the location – it’s just a short distance from Cherai Beach. The hotel offered a great variety of dishes, including some delicious local Kerala specialties, which were a treat! Breakfast was a delight. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Blue Bird Homestay to anyone looking to enjoy Cherai Beach while staying in comfort and style. I can't wait to return!
