This is a perfect hideout if you like rural living, animals and starry skies. The hosts welcome you with open arms and the whole family takes time out of their day to add that much to your stay. The hosts have multiple animals (from very friendly and playful dogs to farm animals) and we got a chance to pet them all. It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.
