We had an awesome one-night stay at the farmhouse and really wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location was great, and the hosts were super friendly. Lorna even gave us a tour of the farm, which we weren’t expecting but ended up being one of the best parts of our trip! My daughter loved seeing all the animals, especially the cows. We also got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Big thanks to the hosts for their amazing hospitality!

The hospitality was magnificent. We're already missing lady Nelson, the golden retriever. The Country House is situated idyllically. The rooms are speciaous and the beds are great. The linnen smell so good, that you dont want to leave. Breakfast is terrific. Thanks to the lady of the house! We love to come back, but for a longer time...

We loved the amenities like the playground, spa and bar. We loved the quiet location and how peaceful it was. We also loved that our fridge was stocked with the essential breakfast items and a few treats. It was incredible!

Probably one of the best value for the money in the region of Cashel, we very much appreciated to have in one place a large indoor leisure/pool/spa facility as well as an historic Pub, all in the confort of a real 4 Stars Hotel ! Plus some nice boutique and bakery, nice personnel everywhere, good food... A really nice place, we warmly recommend.

I booked Hemma Grove last minute and just for one night but it has left such a lasting impression. The farmhouse has been restored with extraordinary care and attention—every detail feels intentional, from the decor to the beautifully preserved character of the original building. Dee kindly accommodated our very late check-in on Friday night, which we were so grateful for. We had to leave early the next morning, but in that short time we were struck by how comfortable and calming the space is. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the large walk-in shower added a real sense of luxury. What stood out most was how the home honours those who lived there before—through carefully restored doors, artefacts, and design choices that feel respectful and considered. We were genuinely struck by the work that Dee and Billy have poured into this place. Everything has been thought of, and it shows. This is a place of great serenity, surrounded by trees and wildlife located beside Dee and Billy’s home. A very special place—one that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. When we booked we knew it was set away from Kilkenny town. It was like Mary Poppins said...  Perfect in every eay. We were greted by Mel who was so lovely. The best self catering property we have stayed in and over the years we have been to so many.   Every thing you need has been thought about.  It was immaculate.  One day we just stayed there. The sun was shining and we had a wonderful sectioned off patio complete with garden furniture.  A glass of wine and a good book. I wished we had booked this for longer.  10/10 top of our list. Fantastic. We will book again.
