This is not a 10-for-style place. The rooms are fairly basic. But this is Gavdos. An island which is largely closed…especially in May. But this place is the shining light. Lovely welcome. Maria is simply extraordinary…manager…waitress…builder…painter…taxi-driver…etc etc…whilst her lovely Mum looks after the kitchen.

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but it was the perfect balm for our souls, especially when our little one came down with gastroenteritis, and I, in turn, caught the bug. We enjoyed our stay at gavdos panorama a lot. The hosts are very friendly and caring. They do also offer for free the transfer from and back to the port of gavdos. The family runs also the restaurant to the apartment and offers there a lot of delicious Greek food for reasonable prices. The view is amazing, also there is a small bay in walking distance with only a few people and a small tavern around. Thanks for everything, we are looking forward to come back again!
