The staff! Bella was so sweet and helpful. So was the young man at the breakfast. The dinner (lamb) was excellent. I loved that the room had a bathtub - perfect after a long days hike.

It was a great room and total value for money. It was bright clean and airy with a nice view of the street and we loved the set up for Teas and coffees and breakfast the next day. The staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble and our evening meal was really nice and again exceptional value for money. We were walking Hadrian's Wall trail and Wylam is literally a short walk from it. They were brilliant with our baggage, accommodating the luggage transfer and even putting it in the room before arrival.

It’s a tiny little place but it has everything you need. We were even entertained by the cricket match being played at the cricket pitch in front of the cabin. We met a neighbour who was very friendly. Walking to the pub in the village is possible and our dog enjoyed himself too. We had lunch at restaurant PINE which was fabulous. All in all a great 24 hours 👍

Unbelievably good - amazing access to city centre. I even went for a run in the morning that was uninterrupted by crossings etc… not a lot not to like. Great communications with the host and a reasonable price. You absolutely will not be disappointed!
