we were greeted on arrival, which made check in very easy. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome . The room was exceptional. It was very clean and spacious and the beds were really comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there was plenty of options to choose from. Our stay was great value for money and hopefully we will return in the future.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I stayed at Fig Tree Cottage for 2 nights while attending the Lana Del Rey concert in Cardiff, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and everything inside was brand new — it felt like a real home away from home. The peaceful location just outside Cardiff was ideal: close enough for an easy trip into the city, but far enough to relax in quiet surroundings afterward. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations on where to eat and places worth visiting nearby. The continental self-service breakfast was a lovely touch, with everything we needed to start the day comfortably. I highly recommend Fig Tree Cottage to anyone visiting the Cardiff area. Whether you're going to a concert or just exploring South Wales, it’s the perfect place to stay. I would definitely return!

    Perfect location for proximity to the hospital we were visiting. Very efficient and friendly staff. Cleanliness and comfort of the room was exceptional. Very good breakfast served from 7am to 10 am. Great free parking on site. Overall exceptional at a very acceptable price.
