From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the owner of Aurora Retreats was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From providing detailed directions to the property to offering helpful suggestions on local restaurants, their warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Speaking of the property itself, it was nothing short of stunning. Nestled in the midst of nature, the retreat offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The serene atmosphere and tranquil surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It truly felt like a hidden gem. One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness and tidiness of the place. The attention to detail was evident in every nook and cranny. The rooms were spotless, the common areas were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was one of relaxation and serenity. It was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, and I was not disappointed. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, from hiking trails to nearby attractions. Staying in the Croft House was a wonderful experience. The view over to Dunvegan Head was stunning. Great facilities for cooking too. Electric heating system kept the home warm. There was also a wood fire. Washing machine was great as we had been travelling for over a week. We used the clothes horse for drying the clothes. We were two couples so having two bathrooms was good. Both bedrooms are upstairs. With one bathroom, with a shower over the bath, upstairs and the other bathroom, with a shower, down stairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Walked along the road for great views and down to the local harbour and to see the sheep and cows that wander the local area.
