    Lots of character, location is picturesque, but the hotel photo is from the most flattering side. We overlooked bins, the car park and active drainage works we were NOT warned about before our stay....!!

    The hotel is a beautiful building, full of character. The food was excellent, we had breakfast and an evening meal and both were of a really high standard. Location is excellent to get out and explore the Hope Valley which is a beautiful part of the world. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking available too.

    Graham was excellent, so friendly and welcoming. Great location, free parking, hotel was very clean, lovely views from the garden and the back of the hotel. The bedrooms and bathroom was very clean and shower was nice. On our first night we ate at the restaurant, food was excellent.
