The facilities are well-equipped, clean, and the service is good, with staff helping with luggage. Booking a ride online is very convenient, with direct pickup at the hotel entrance. The breakfast is quite rich, and it is very close to the East Gate. You can walk through Jinbian Stream, which has beautiful scenery and very clear water, suitable for wading and playing, although it is a bit cold now, so be careful of catching a cold. After hiking, the foot massage downstairs is very convenient for relaxing your feet.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to make our experience special. They surprised us with a complimentary afternoon tea, which was such a lovely gesture, and even offered us transportation when we needed it. The accommodation itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. Everything exceeded our expectations – we truly felt welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended!

Richard is the best. He gave me instructions for everything and even had a plan to still enjoy the national park, if it’s raining/cloudy all day. 5-10min walk to the entrance of the park.

The hotel is located in a quiet area at the outskirts of Wulingyuan. But it's still very close to the east gate of the forest park and just a short walk from restaurants and bustling streets. The rooms had a mix of traditional Chinese and modern style. Shower was very hot and comfortable. Beds and room cleaned everyday. AC worked really well and kept the rooms cool. Breakfast on the rooftop was Chinese with 2 types of noodle dishes to choose from,, sweet potato, eggs. They also got some toast and had just bought a toaster. But no butter, jam, cheese or anything to put on it. However, they clearly advertise that they serve chinese breakfast. So the toast etc. was just a bonus. Instant coffee, the powder kind. If you want proper coffee you'll have to order from Luckin coffee or cotti coffe using delivery app. All in all think it's a spectacular place to stay in Wulingyuan. Highly recommend

The whole hotel is clean and tidy, and the front desk guys and girls are also very enthusiastic and help plan the appropriate route. There is billiards to play downstairs, and there are massage chairs to relax when you are tired of climbing

Excellent location with a short walk to Zhangjiajie National Park. The nearby village is charming to watch sunrise and sunset. Clean and tranquil environment. Guesthouse beds come with mattresses equipped with heaters for the cold weather. Anthony, the host, not only speaks immaculate English but is also very knowledgeable about the place. He's incredibly nice and helpful in purchasing our national park tickets, planned our itineraries, arranged all our transportation, cooked breakfast and dinner for us, and ensuring everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Guesthouse and highly recommend it for your visit. That was our first trip to China, and our family had a wonderful and memorable time in Zhangjiajie.

The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the staff are very friendly ,they picked us up from the train station and have helped us arrange our trip . My mom wanted to prepare her own pancakes and they didn’t hesitate to provide her with all the items . The view from the lodge is amazing as well . We had a magical time in this hotel one of the best.
