This hotel is Shanghai's best kept secret. If you need to stay north of the city, stay here. It feels like a miniature Disneyland. Pictures of the grand staircase are accurate and do not disappoint. Staff checking in told me that the rate for my room had changed -- it had actually become *cheaper* relative to what I booked. They spent a half hour trying to get me the cheaper room rate -- outstanding. The bedroom was luxurious, like staying in a palace. Largest bed I've ever seen -- 1.5x wider than it was long. Short walk from Baoyang Rd metro station. Maybe a half hour to get back to the city on the metro, so not too long though it feels long the first time! Mall next door has food and other amenities. Breakfast was delicious. This was the best hotel I stayed in for the price during my last trip to China.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! The experience was truly delightful from start to finish. The breakfast was a standout, especially the excellent Chinese options which were fresh and delicious. The room was spacious, immaculately cleaned, and offered a beautiful view which made it even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and excellent service!

The hotel was perfect, the location was just off Nanjing Road and within a few minutes of walking to the nearest metro station. The staff and cleaners were also very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend staying here, and will probably stay here the next time I visit.

We got everything we needed in this place and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We cooked and did laundry everyday, also, it's very convenient to get food and grocery delivered to the apartment. Xiepu Road Metro Station is only 5 minutes walking distance from this apartment. We did enjoy our two-week stay in this place.

In the Huangpu district of Shanghai, close to Pedestrian Street of East Nanjing Rd., River House Near The Peoples Square And The Bund features a terrace and a washing machine.

Really love the room, spacial, so clean, love the host also, she is really kind and would like to help us in every way,location its near with the bund, you can bike around 7-10mnit, there a small shop before receptionist you can buy everthing you need, amanities at the room was complete, we really enjoy to stay there.

We had one of the most outstanding "HOSPITALITY" experiences of our lives during our 2 nights at the Shanghai EDITION Hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, located on the main shopping street. Just a few steps to the Bund, which is an unparalleled experience, especially in the evening illumination. It has a special atmosphere. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a bathroom with both shower and bath. The view from the room's large windows is unrivalled. Yet, what was even more striking was the extraordinary helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. Throughout our stay we felt important and they looked for ways to make our stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable. I would recommend the bar on the 26th floor, the view is wonderful. The roof terrace is also special, but the cold winter weather during our stay did not allow us to enjoy it, but even at this time of year it should not be missed for a few panoramic photos.
