    The place far exceeded our expectations! Although the hotel was on a highway in the city, our room had a beautiful view of the Campbell River and it was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the owner gave us excellent suggestions for what to do and see in the area. We also really liked the gated parking lot. Access to Strathcona Park was unbeatable. We would recommend Chateau Riverside to anyone visiting the Cambell River area.

    WiFi was free. Location was stunning. Right on the river. Huge balcony looking onto river and bird sanctuary. Walking distance to nature walks, central core and ocean pathway. We saw eagles, heron, mergansers, seals and salmon (and many fly fisherpeople) from our balcony. Secure, locked gated parking lot. Large, fully equipped kitchen. Sunny was friendly, accommodating and very helpful with directions to local sights. Early check-in was accommodated with no hassles. THANKS!!

    Well located in Central Campbell River, easy access from main highway. Easy free parking outside the hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent room, bathroom had excellent shower. Breakfast included. Easy stop over on our way to Alder Bay.
