So we actually stayed in Le Var not the Gate House. We loved the grounds, the history, the peace and serenity and our cute room with the very generous, modern ensuite.

The unit was very clean and comfortable. The bar has a country feel and great atmosphere, the beer garden is very relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was 10/10 fast service. We will be back

We had a very warm welcome at our arrival and got very useful information during breakfast (which was very copious). That's why we added an extra stop in Manjimup to be able to enjoy the rainforest of Walpole later on in our trip. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the glass of port in our room. Toodyay is a very lovely town and the surroundings are beautiful. We also enjoyed the lovely garden of this B&B.
