Excellent dinner, listed as buffet (with lot of variety and even lot of alcohol variety), good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the lobby. Coffee machine and chocolates in the lobby. Parking. Large room. Good public onsen. Overwall one of the better hotels we stayed in in Japan.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Everything was amazing, I’m glad I booked this place on for my birthday stay. I wake up with a fabulous view of Mt.Fuji, and the price was fair not too expensive. All the staffs are friendly, the hot springs were amazing as well, they also arrange shuttle bus for us upon arrival.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Excellent place to stay and relax. Each of the rooms have an outdoor onsen bath, and an indoor wet room with a bathtub and shower. The futons are placed on tatami mats. You are provided pajamas to sleep and Yukata to walk around the Ryokan and the area if you want to. The dinner and breakfast are Kaiseki style.

The hotel was located across from the beautiful & serene lake Shoji and surrounded by magical forests of cedar and beech trees, with incredible views of Mt Fuji. The property was delightful and its simple Ryokan rooms were perfect for our needs. The onsens were a wonderful addition. The staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming and we would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Very good direct sight of Fuji Mountain from the room, near the Kawaguchiko station , a five minute walk to the bridge and lakeside. Traditional japanese style onzen,room, breakfast are all satisfying. The welcome from the host is warm and considerate.
