Situated right next to Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park, Highland Resort Hotel & Spa boasts Mount Fuji views, large hot spring baths and spa facilities. Everything we expected was there and more. The view of the Mt Fuji in the morning, the amusement park just a minute walk away, the baths next to the hotel, and the quality of the room. The buffet breakfast room in the morning as well with the views it gives, although it can get a bit crowded and noisy. I'd recommend to stay at least a few nights, depending on the weather, if you want to have the best views you can get. Restaurants within the hotel are also top notch.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Great view right in the room with most of Mt Fuji. Good balcony to sit on and enjoy the view. Could be a bit small for a family with some large luggage. Meals included in the price are Japanese style and good.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I had a 2 night stay in Konanso. The staff is very welcoming and polite, maybe it helps that i speak Japanese. However, they also speak English. Rooms are spacious, clean and with wonderful views. There is a person in charge of your stay that will bring you dinner each night and ask if you need anything. Dinner served at the bedroom is delicious, and the onsen is gorgeous. Would recommend 10/10. Breakfast is also excellent, with western and japanese food.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The staff was very attentive and accommodative. The Japanese breakfast very nice and diverse. Very good restaurant by the hotel to taste regional cuisine! The onsen experience my first was a nice discovery in and of itself with a full paronamic view of the Lake. Same excellent view from the big room. We were lucky to also have a view of Mt Fuji visible the following morning. It was a full immersive experience. We slept in kimono and on the tatami. A good night sleep!

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It is a beautiful hotel with unique interior, very clean and confortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fantastic view of Mt Fuji.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Great traditional Japanese style tatami room. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, and the food was amazing. Private outdoor bath was an amazing experience. 10/10 will return one day
