Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. We had a blast. The place was clean and beautiful, the staff was kind and helpful. We stayed in the traditional room with a stunning view. The onsen was so much fun, both the indoor and otdoor. I can only recommend it.

Very relaxing place and offers a very nice view even if it's raining. Really good food and very friendly stuff. The onsen is fantastic. It is a bit of a hike from the nearest bust stop so make sure you travel light unless you have no option.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When I asked the restaurant staff which items were Halal/Vegetarian/seafood, she asked a senior staff member who proceeded to explain each buffet item one by one to explain the ingredients and check if it suited my diet (not having pork or non-halal meats). Moreover, when knowing that my options were somewhat limited, the restaurant staff ensured to share with me the upcoming buffet items on the following days which did suit my diet. I already went to the hotel knowing that my options were limited, but the staff exceeded my expectations by ensuring that we were taken care of. It's worth noting that the food was delicious. They had a dedicated staff member taking family photographs of guests by the water terrace. these are just a couple of examples where staff members put the customers as their highest priority. We also loved the spotless clean rooms and facilities, various dedicated slippers available (hotel room slippers, hotel area sandals, bathroom sandals, private balcony/Onsen crocs). The vending machines, free coffee, gift/shop, proximity to public transportation were quite convenient too.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Me & my husband stayed for one night in the twin room with private hot spring bath. This huge room was very beautiful and cozy, clean & well equipped with different amenities (tea, kettle, mini fridge, yukatas, large tv with a Super Nintendo etc.). Just as promised in the listing. It was so lovely to enjoy the private onsen in our room, nobody to disturb us and no rush. The wooden tub fits two people well, even when sitting side by side. The window above the tub can be opened, the view is to a parking lot/other hotel. We had access to the hotel’s three other private onsen baths aswell and could use them whenever they were free, but we liked to stick to the one in our room. The location is excellent, there are some convenience stores nearby & you can walk from the bus station in about 10 minutes to the hotel. There are also some restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Eidaya and would definitely love to come back sometime! It was such a wonderful little escape from bustling Tokyo.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. We have visited 3 times and it always is a wonderful treat. Great baths, great breakfast, lovely room. Warm recommendation for couples.

Hostel Onsen K House Hakone terletak di lokasi dalam jarak 15 minit berjalan kaki atas bukit atau 4 minit menaiki bas dari Stesen Hakone Yumoto. Have been staying in K house chain in Fujikawaguchiko as well. Probably the best hostel in the Japan through out my stay. Very clean & lot of social space

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Both the private and public onsens are beautiful and the meals are spectacular both in terms of visuals and taste! The staff are some of the kindest hotel staff I've ever met and they made sure everything is absolutely perfect for me. The room I stayed in was spot-free clean, very comfortable and, as a plus-size woman, I truly appreciated the yukata size-up options I was kindly offered before I even had to ask!!! Another great point was the fact that it was just a 9minute walk away from the Choanji Buddhist Temple, which is not included much in the "must see" lists of Hakone on the internet, but it is a spectacular temple with a mini forest PACKED with statues of all shapes and kinds. The walk on the temple grounds was such an amazing experience. Would definitely love to visit Mount View Hakone again!
