Lovely family-run ryokan with a truly kind and charming owner. Good and tasty dinner on our first night. The breakfast was also very copious and impressive. First time i slept in a futon bed but it was surprisingly comfortable. We loved our stay here. It was also very well located.

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. The hotel room was different from any hotel we had ever been. Very Japanese typical style. Everything was provided. There was even a massage chair for our private use. In the evenings while we were at dinner, the staff set up the futon beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. Before bed, we ordered Shiatsu massages, which were exceptional. The food was good! Breakfast was definitely typical Japanese style. The Onsen was amazing. The water felt so healing.

Newly renovated hotel in great location. The rooms and facilities are very well designed and made you feel like home. The best part of this hotel is the manager, Hiro san, who worked so hard to make sure that you will have a nice stay. Highly recommended.

Terletak 2.8km dari Kinumaki Shrine, Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen- menawarkan penginapan 4-bintang di Toyooka dan mempunyai taman, lounge berkongsi dan restoran. Staff services is the best, first time to see non-Japanese with great English. Service procedure is detailed follows like most of Japanese Inn. The room is cozy with garden balcony, food was great. Unfortunately it was raining, but in-house private onsen is very good. They also provide rental umbrella that you can return it at tourist center next to train station. Bonus: Their Yukata is beautiful. The stay is including onsen pass already.

Boasting an open-air hot springs bath and spacious garden, Arima Grand Hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from Arima Onsen Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. The onsen/bath areas were very nice. Dinner was excellent. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Located a 5-minute taxi ride from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, Kobe Minato Onsen Ren boasts a variety of hot spring baths, a year-round hot spring outdoor pool, an indoor swimming pool, a... The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.
