Located in Watkins Glen, 8 km from Watkins Glen International, Lakeside Resort provides accommodation with barbecue facilities and a garden, including 30 acres with walking trails and small... We visited here to hike at Watkins Glen and also to break up the drive to Niagara Falls, and did not regret staying here. The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, access to private beach area and free WiFi, Hill View Motel and Cottages is set in Lake George, 7 km from Fort William Henry and 7 km from Lake George. This hotel was rated 2-stars, but it was much better than that. Iwould rate it atleast 3-stars, if not4!

Situated in Himrod, Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages offers barbecue facilities. Featuring a garden, the 3-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Guests can enjoy lake views. Excellent location very close to Watkins Glen village and park, Penn yan village and Dresden, beautiful landscape with a very nice view on the Seneca lake though your room’s window and balcony. The room was very well decorated, spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. Jeff is a very friendly and welcoming person with all the best recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay in Savannah Inn and w’ll be back for sure.

Sara Glen Motel - Saratoga Springs-Glens Falls is located halfway between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, 64 km from Gore Mountain. This is an adorable little spot. The staff was very welcoming. It was clean and comfortable. Just what we were looking for.

This Montauk motel is opposite the beach, and boat rentals are available a mile away at Fort Pond. The Hither Hills State Park is located 3 miles from the property. Spotless, large apartment with full kitchen. Right across the road from the stunning beach and a short walk into the town. Good value for money for the location. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.

Featuring barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Tug Hill Resort is situated in Redfield. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a garden. It was a real homely place for a relaxing overnight stay - a great break on our long journey. We were able to cook a simple family meal, sit and catch up by the fire pit, throw some horseshoes and frisbees and have a very peaceful night's sleep. The complimentary do-it-yourself breakfast was also a great touch. The owners and their dogs were super welcoming.
