Located 1 mile from Acadia National Park, this motel is 100% smoke-free and features free WiFi access and free shuttle service into central Bar Harbor. The room was large and comfortable, with many details for comfort and efficiency. A feeling of respect and good treatment. In my opinion, it was wonderful.

Located in the centre of downtown Bar Harbor, this motel boasts a seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool is provided. We stayed for 2 nights in another hotel in town. But as that hotel was extremely expensive due to memorial weekend, we switched to the villager motel. We were super happy we did. The room is a good size, the beds comfortable and the location to the restaurants and main attractions in town is unbeatable. The breakfast was good and exceeded our expectations, as there were more choices as we had with hotels during our trip. The receptionist was also friendly and the check in was smooth.

This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy! We plan to make it an annual trip because we love it so much!

Comfortable beds. 20 mins leisurely walk to downtown Bar Harbor. We stayed in the top building and enjoyed a sea view from the balcony.
