The location was great. The gentleman who greeted me was welcoming and even called me by name before he looked me up in the computer to check me in. The hotel was clean, had a restaurant and free parking. All very convenient when traveling. Great value.

Located next to the E18 highway, Rasta Arboga offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with seating areas and cable TV. Arboga city centre is 3.5 km away. Booked this place last minute - the day we stayed. It's basically a truck stop with a gas station, convenience store, restaurant and motel. However, the room was modern, clean and spacious with a good sized bathroom. We appreciated that we didn't enter directly into our room, but rather into a building with a locked door and then our room opened off of a hallway. The room had everything we needed for the night with twin beds that were comfortable. Very quiet - set back from the road and the gas station. The restaurant was cafeteria style and the food was decent, not great, but super convenient and we had no complaints. When we checked in (at the gas station) the attendant gave a us discount coupons for dinner and a ticket for free breakfast. All this for $95! Great value for a one night stay on our way from Karlstad to Stockholm.
