Positioned on the main street, the Queen Street Studios is a 4-minute walk to Richmond Mall where guests can find a variety of shops... Easy to find. Doable distance from the Picton car ferry and Abel Tasman.. Excellent facilities. Pleasant friendly staff who gave good recommendations for an evening meal and helped us to use the laundry. Off street parking right outside the apartment. Good place to visit the Nelson attractions, particularly the car museum with its cafe and excellent gift shop. Highly recommended.

Offering free WiFi and free on-site bus and car parking, Mohua Motels is located in Takaka. All accommodation offers a patio, fully equipped kitchenette and mountain and garden views. Our stay at Mohua Motels was excellent. The facilities in the room exceeded our expectations - small matter such as it had egg cups for our boiled eggs! We had 3 nights and used the outside gas barbeque for two evening meals. It was very clean and worked extremely well - a good range on BBQ tools was provided. There was nice outside sitting space. It was a short walk into Takaka for cafes, shops and a few restaurants. As a bonus there was an excellent supermarket just down the road - again easy walking distance. The area has outstanding beaches within a short drive. Staff are very helpful and easily available.

Located in Takaka, 10 minutes' drive from the beach, The Rocks Chalets features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. The Chalet are so gorgeous, we stayed there the night before doing the Abel Tasman walk, and then came back after 3 days in the park, we asked for the sofa bed to be made as we were 2 friends traveling together and after all that walk we were very tired and needed a good night rest. They made the sofa bed with lots of padding and it was so confortable I slept like a baby. I really liked staying there, very private and quiet, lots of space. We could park our car no problem. I will definitely come back as I want to do the heaphy track next year. It' s also perfect location to go to the farewell spit. And 10 minutes drive from the Chalet there are beautiful water source and we also found a walk up to see some grottas. The little village of Takaka is also very cute, lots of cool little shop and cafe. Highly recommend this area and this accomodation.

Just a 10-minute walk from Kaiteriteri Beach, Kimi Ora Eco Resort offers rooms with a balcony and sea views. From what I saw on the booking site I wad very confident that I would like the property. That turned out to be an understatement it was excellent. The accommodation was large in a beautiful location that overlooked the Kaiteriteri beach. That there was a swimming pool (indoor and out), hot tubs and the breakfast was excellent was icing on the cake. I highly recommend in fact youd be mad to stay anywhere else.

Featuring barbecue facilities, Anatoki Lodge Motel is set in Takaka, 18 km from Golden Bay. Each accommodation at the motel has garden views and free WiFi. We loved our room here. We did have the two bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and comfortable. It’s such a sweet touch that they offer you milk for your morning coffee in a little jug. The location is fantastic. You can walk into town in a couple minutes. The town is awesome. Several wonderful coffee shops with delicious food and lots of hippie vibes stores.

Very impressed with the size of the room. It was clean and well presented with an extra large bed. Great kitchen facilities and a very large bathroom. The motel was well off the road with parking outside the unit. The small town was a quick walk down the road to the local hotel, Four Square and small shops. It was only a few minutes away from the Buller Gorge Adventure Park

Offering a range of accommodation options with garden and estuary views, Collingwood Park Motel borders the estuary and is 3 minutes' walk from the beach. Very helpful receptionist who was very understanding when our friends had mistakenly booked for the wrong month. Gave advice about alternative places.. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable.
