We stayed here for one night after entering Quebec coming from the US. This is a good place to do so. Furniture is older, but this makes is even more charming. No breakfast offered, but Tim Hortons just 2 minutes away. Lac Megantic is just a short drive away for swimming. Hotel staff spoke only french (with an accent difficult to understand for Europeans who just entered Quebec), but used directly translator to German for us. Many thanks.

The breakfast at the Kaline Restaurant was very nice. My wife's crepes were delicious, and were presented with fresh strawberries and blueberries, as well as a scrumptious maple/caramel syrup. My omelet was just as I expected, and was very tasty. The waitress was very attentive, and spoke fluently in both English and French. The prices were fair, and the restaurant was very nice, clean and attractive. I would dare say that this restaurant was the nicest of all the others in the area. The room was small, but so was the price. We just wanted the room for a base, so we could explore the area. It was clean, comfortable, warm and "Quiet", as the name implies.

Located near Lake Memphremagog, Motel de l'Outlet offers free WiFi. It is 5 minutes' walk from the beach and 8 km from Orford National Park and Ski Station. Great location for the town being a short walk over the river. Tremendous WiFi. Quaint town.

I had such a restful sleep both nights we stayed - the mattress was so comfortable and it was so quiet and dark at night. The room and bathroom were incredibly clean. The bathtub was so clean that I actually would have drawn myself a bath if I had more time during my stay (I never do this at a hotel / motel). You can tell the owners have tried to modernize the room - the flooring was changed and the paint all fresh. I didn't realize the distance between the motel and downtown Sherbrooke - was a 15-20 minute drive each way. Not really an issue since there wasn't much traffic, and I should have checked before booking if it really mattered to me.

Offering free WiFi, Motel Le Refuge is located in Sherbrooke. Lennoxville Golf Club is 10 minutes' walk away. A cable TV is offered in each room at Le Refuge. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking available on property. Staff were polite and friendly. Added bonus- balcony.
