The hosts were amazing! Very nice and helpful, good people. The hostel is clean, new, well equipped and comfortable It is possible to do laundry (for extra payment) Location is good, close to a free parking I highly recommend staying in this hostel

We’ve had a wonderfull stay in Edward Lear! We even came back a second time on our holiday in Albania, because we really loved it. The accomodation is right in the centre of Berat. The place is very beautiful and quiet and there is free parking closeby. It has a terrace with an amazing view over the city. The host is super kind and is always happy to help. We would highly recommend this place! Thank you a lot!

Such a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location within the castle grounds. We were in the top floor room which had slanted ceilings but big room and ensuite, if tall just mind your head! Amazing value hotel and breakfast was included! Breakfast is traditional with a choice of bread, jams, fried eggs, fried donuts, watermelon, cucumber, tomatoes and drinks with lovely outside seating. Free parking right outside on cobbled grounds in castle. Staff so friendly and even carried our luggage for us! Thank you for a great stay

Small family run hotel, simple furnishings but spotlessly clean, chairs on terrace to relax and look out across to the castle fridge with cold drinks and beers to help yourself and pay at check out is a nice touch Excellent communication from owner on directions and very much appreciated the owner having saved us an easy parking spot on the road below the path to the hotel. Good location for old town Breakfast buffet had usual but a very good selection of jams and the little warm doughnuts that were brought to the table were delicious.

The accommodation was great. It was about half an hour walk from the city centre and very quiet. Arsen replied very quickly to any questions we had. His parents greeted us and were very friendly and hospitable. Such lovely people. Even though they didn’t speak much English, they were eager to connect and make sure we felt welcomed. There is free parking. Which was very helpful. Pedro (the father) even washed our car before we headed to our next destinations. That was so thoughtful.

Good location in walking distance to the old town and comfortable rooms. Once the outdoor pool is ready it will be an added bonus. Best of all, free parking in front of the hotel (and main reason for us to choose it).
