The location is stunning, the accommodation is beautiful! The beds were also very comfortable and we had plenty of room to move around and get things done. The kitchen is a lovely edition too, the room also had a pull out table which was great. It was lovely to cook a meal and watch a movie on a night time they had a DvD/bookcase which is a nice lil edition. Great hospitality, the service was wonderful!

Everthing! The area is fantastic and with a car very easy to explore the peak district! The accomodation had everthing necessary to contribute to a memorable weekend

Swimming pool, spa and fitness are a nice edition.

Checked in easy, asked about car parking and staff helped me register car correctly. Room was great, spacious, nice and warm once we had figured out thermostat. Bed clean and comfy. Booked a table and enjoyed an evening meal of home made pie, mash and veg. Very tasty. Good lively atmosphere in bar. Good range of drinks and wines. Staff busy but attentive and helpful, even when we asked for another bath towel, straight on to it. Breakfast cereals, cooked breakfast toast tea and juice ... again good range, tasty, hot and good start to the day

Free onsite parking. Log your registration at bar. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Great carvery and breakfast Large dog friendly room. Whole pub dog friendly

Absolutely spot on ‘ just how hotels should be.

We didn’t have breakfast. The location is good. It’s a pity the hotel website advises there is a discount available at a nearby car park without making it clear you had to go to the hotel to register first.
