Nelas is a small quiet town about an hour’s drive to the Serra da Estrela. Perfect place to stay to relax and enjoy nature. Lovely staff.

The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The personnel were incredibly friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. I also loved the common living room, which was a cozy space with comfortable sofas, books, and drinks available at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this place!

Very comfortable and cozy room, and quiet at night. The dinner served in their restaurant is excellent. Make sure to meet Esmeralda, the male turtle that lives in a small pond outside.
