Milan, the concierge, truly went above and beyond. He was the most attentive and caring concierge we’ve ever met, providing invaluable information before, during, and even after our stay. He took care of everything, from arranging free transport to the bus station and visits to the elephant breeding centers, to organizing our onward travel and bus tickets. His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. Green Mansion Jungle Resort is located in Chitwan and is 200 metres from Elephant Park and Chitwan National Park. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Amazing resort right on the edge of the national park, the staff were fantastic, organising our activities and taking care of us during our stay, they even upgraded our room for us :)

Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Barahi Jungle Lodge is located in Meghauli. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this resort. The remoteness of this lodge means you are more likely to encounter wildlife than in the more populated area of Sauraha. There were rhinoceros grazing each early morning in the river and the jeep safari brought us up close and personal. The guide is also extremely knowledgeable. This remoteness also gives you the calm, quiet and completely relaxing experience. The staff were absolutely exceptional, going well beyond the standard to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay the best it can possibly be. It is highly eco-sustainable, avoiding plastic wherever possible, the majority of staff are hired from the local community and they try to purchase as much food and services also from the local community. This investment helps reduce locals reliance on income sources that may be more harmful to the environment and wildlife. Is it expensive? When compared to other Nepalese accommodation and services, yes. Is it worth it though? Absolutely!

A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of my visit. The rooms were clean, and cozy, and offered a peaceful connection to nature. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, and a serene escape! 10/10!

Beautiful modern hotel in lodge style design, nice big rooms and always clean and tidy. The staff in areas of this hotel are extremely well trained and courteous. The restaurant staff are all fabulous and it would be unfair to mention any individual but can’t name them all, so a 5/5 for every single one of them. My wife used the spa for 2 treatments and she thought it was excellent with very lovely professional staff. We did two safari tours one by elephant and one by jeep., both were excellent and a special mention here for our guide Suki who was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him for both of excursions booked with the hotel. I recommend staying at the Soaltee West End to anyone who wants top level service and care from arrival to departure.

The manager Raj was exceptional and provided wonderful client care. He sorted out airport transfers, excursions and special meals of my choosing. I felt part of a hotel family: literally as his son Ayush worked at the hotel while not at college. His English was excellent and the care he took over the comfort of his guests was amazing for someone of his age. Aks was an excellent guide and managed to change my flights enabling me to leave early. Raj clearly values his staff and they respect him. Nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool is a fantastic feature and a great sun trap.

This has been an absolute dream in Chitwan! Located 25mins from Bharatpur, where the tourist bus dropped us off. We arrived to a cold towel and welcome drink (as we did after all of our excursions). Babu the manager was wonderful, explained everything to us, organised laundry, taxis and bus tickets. The lodge itself was stunning. Our lodge had a balcony facing into the jungle so we could sit in the chairs and watch birds fly around. The lodge was large, clean, well facilitated with two large bottles of drinking water everyday, a mini fridge, toiletries and air con (necessary!) The lodged are set in a beautiful complex with lots of trees, plants, a stunning pool and most importantly a river viewing deck. We saw crocodiles, gharials and deer every day from our deck. There were lizards, and an array of beautiful birds that we could see from the deck while eating our meals or enjoying a drink, and swimming in the pool with colourful birds flying overhead was fantastic. The food is exceptional, large portions and a reasonable price, a main cost between 500-1000 rupees. Tea and coffee are complimentary and can be ordered anytime. Our breakfast was included and delicious! The service is simply wonderful, all the staff speak amazing English and are so attentive, polite and friendly; they simply can't do enough for you and are happy to help with any problems or answer questions. Babu even spent extra time with us, helping us bird and croc spot from the deck. We went on three excursions, jeep safari, canoe trip and crocodile breeding centre. All were organised by the hotel with no stress. Babu and his team took us out and we saw lots of animals including: rhinos, hog deer, spotted deer, elephants, crocodiles, gharials, wild boar, peacocks, kingfishers, macaques and plenty of other birds that Babu pointed out to us. The hotel really made our holiday and we felt so special staying here.
