Hotel River Front was a little piece of paradise for the 2 nights we stayed here (with my husband and 5 year old). The entire property is immaculately clean - from the gardens to the rooms and bathrooms - it was spotless. Room and bathroom was large, good hot water in shower, good air-conditioning, lovely balcony overlooking garden wirh river at the bottom. Pool was fabulous and great to relax around after a safari. We ate dinner at the hotel on both nights. Food was really delicious and good choice. Breakfast was included in the package and was very good (fresh pancakes, fruit, toast, eggs, sausage, etc...). On the morning of our safari they packaged a breakfast up for us which was appreciated. Hotel organised a private safari for us. Channa was our guide and was brilliant. So knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we had a great day. We saw loads of animals including leopards and the scenery was stunning. A special thanks to all the staff who made our stay so special- they all do a fabulous job and made us so very welcome. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

The villa is gorgeous, plenty of space for the 5 of us. The whoops of joy as our kids explored the place said it all! Private pool, incredible food, attentive staff, wildlife all around. On our first evening, the guides took us to the red sand beach, about a 20 minute walk away. Very beautiful. You walk past a lake with baby crocs, can spot iguanas and other wildlife. Magical. We booked a safari through the hotel, the jeep was comfortable, and very reasonably priced. They packed us a breakfast to take with. The service was outstanding. We didn't want to leave.

I recommend anyone who is staying in yala to choose this resort! It has a Great pool, great restaurant, great rooms and it is very close to the safari park entrance.

Boasting views of the pool, all units in the property come with private entrance and a private pool. The private bathroom is fitted with a bidet, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the luxury tent, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. This luxury tented camp is situated where the jungle meets a pristine beach, overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Everything! Wild Coast Tented Lodge is truly magnificent!!! We were happy that the architecture was specifically designed to have minimal impact on the environment, whilst still offering ultimate luxury and comfort. Our accommodation was outstanding, every aspect and requirement has been considered and the interior design was so impressive! Every single staff member is beyond courteous and helpful!! Our safari was unforgettable! A special thank you to our driver, Suranga and ranger, Kasun who provided 40 minutes of exclusive viewing of a gorgeous female leopard!!! The restaurant experience is superb, the local chef has the most amazing skills! Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented! Our waitress, Viraji was delightful and our spa treatments were fabulous!! Our host, Sashika was so helpful and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed to maximise our experience! Our expectations have been well exceeded and we cannot wait to return to this magical place! Thank you ❤️

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Tanamalwila, Mayka's luxury holiday homes and Safari Thanamalwila is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, terrace and parking on-site among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. The hosts were very friendly. The room was spacious and price was on the lower end.

There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.
