Very friendly staff, very nice lobby and the rooms were comfy, clean and quite. Would stay here anytime again. Great price for such a nice hotel!

The onsen, the midnight meal, and the tatami-style interior and room were amazing. Just one thing to mention—the room temperature was quite hot for us, even after turning off the heater. Maybe it was because our room was located just above the onsen. We definitely re-booking at another Onyado Nono hotel in another city.

Hotel’s location is excellent, next to the entrance of the Nara Park. They also offer a traditional Japanese Mocha Tea, in a tea room as a welcome drink, we love it very much. You can request in room massage service, there are 40mins / 60mins two options. The price is reasonable.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Super clean, wonderful surroundings, so many beautiful touches. Fresh flowers! .The Onsen was great. Breakfast was magnificent. Brilliant location in Nara. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, super clean. Nice toiletries. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much to everyone at Ryokan Asukasou.

Mikasa terletak 10 minit memandu dari Stesen Keretapi Kintetsu Nara dengan menggunakan perkhidmatan shuttle percuma hotel ini. I liked everything from Mikasa. They have a small reception in Nara city centre, and the lady who Works there is so sweet and nice. The bus collected me and my friend there, and took us to Mikasa, which is in a quiet and isolated area. The reception couldn’t be better. We had a member of their team showing us everything (I forgot her name, so sorry). We could choose a yucata, and then she took us to our bedroom,which was lovely and immaculately clean. We then had dinner - one of the highlights - which was beautiful and delicious. After dinner, we went to a tour at the mountains and the tour guide was lovely,and explained to us many things about the area. The following day we went to the hotel’s onsen and it was amazing. Breakfast was the best one I had in Japan. Mikasa was for sure one of the highlights of my trip. Thank you so much to everyone that made this experience unique. Arigato gozaimasu!

Everything was clean and comfortable from the sofa to the bedding, to the bath area and towels. Located in quaint Murou, Murou-ji temple is only a few minutes walk away. It is also within walking distance of Murou Art Forest. Both are must-sees. Parking is available but requires a reservation so be sure to contact the proprietor. After each day of sightseeing around the area, I looked forward to returning to my room and enjoying the cleanliness and comfort. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable stay away from the city, look no further!
