The newer area of the hotel was very nicely decorated and clean, and the old part of the estate still had a very cosy feeling, especially the bar in the "library" where we could sit and have a few drinks after dinner.

We had a lovely weekend stay here, the house was very comfortable and the host who was in contact with us was very friendly. Beautiful sea views and lovely walks around the area! There was a very small shop where you can get some very essential food on the street of the house and nice coffee shops neaby. For a slighty bigger food shop and a good restaurant meal we got a bus over to Coldingham. The house itself had a wonderful atmosphere with lots of lovely touches. We would be happy to be back again!
