The courtyard was amazing, filled with beautiful art, windows, arches. There was a rooftop bar with a view. The rooms were very comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were very good.

Wonderful staff. Nice breakfast. Morning hike and evening bonfire were great activities. The hotel is quite away up a long hill so you would need a taxi into town. Great indoor pool and sauna. Perfect for a romantic and / or relaxing getaway.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna room and Turkish bath facilities, this colonial-style house offers nice décor and free Wi-Fi. Massage sessions can be booked. The personel was very helpful. They have provided me na incredible studio equipped with a king size bed and a hydromassage tube. The garden is large and beautiful. There od also a nice area with a swimming pool, there. The wi-fi is strony and it works seamlesly in the entire object. I was also impressed with the breakfast.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough for a stay near Otavalo. Wonderful facilities and grounds, and exceptionally helpful staff. It's nice to be in a quiet location but still easy to travel into Otavalo or many other day trips in the area. They were very helpful in organising taxis!

La Mirage is a 5-star Hotel & Spa built on the grounds of a 200-year old Andean Hacienda. It features orchid gardens filled with peacocks and a gourmet cooking school. We had absolutely great time, evenings by the fireplace in the room after a nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant—mornings in their swimming pools. The staff is gorgeous, they bring little treats and are always there if you need anything. The room is big, there is a big comfortable bed and they give you hot water bottles for the night since it gets chilly in this mountain region. That little town where the hotel is - is quite cute and a very safe place to be.
