Very good location close to the market, the bus stop, the stores and the restaurants. The staff is super helpful and kind. The breakfast comes with a lot of fresh fruit, eggs, avocadoes! Very nice service at a very reasonable price. I would choose it again when staying in Santa Marta.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar with a terrace. Wow! what a location; it’s an adventure gettimg there…but absolutely worth it. Solo traveler; the Masaya team does a great job w activities, chill music, places to be solo and place to be w others, communal later dinners, and just very cheerful folks who take care of the lodge, the food, and the folks to a recognizable degree. This 4-star hotel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The hotel has an indoor pool and room service. Very nice place, well located in the historic part of the city. Great value for the price. Staff is very kind and very good breakfast. We would return without a doubt.

The place is picture perfect, the food is great and the staff are friendly and accommodating! We also added a massage to our stay which was amazing. Everything including the price exceeded expectations

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments. Facing the beachfront, Casa Dos Almas offers 4-star accommodation in Guachaca and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. The property is located 42 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, 45 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum and 45 km from Santa Marta Cathedral. The property is allergy-free and is situated a few steps from Guachaca Beach. The location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.
