They checked in with us every day to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We will definitely come back again!

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See 4 Stern Superior is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. One of the best stays I had. Staff is super helpful, the room was super comfortable, the view on the lake gorgeous. On top of that, the treatment we had, the spa, the breakfast were all perfect. I would recommend and I'll definitely come back.

This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. The location is amazing - the views are so picturesque! The staff are very nice and friendly, and even helped us fix the wheelchair when my wheel fell off! They give you good advice on what to see in the area and coupons. From Traunkirchen you can easily reach all other lakes (if you want to). The new spa on the top floor is luxurious and breathtaking. Breakfast is very good! Coffee is great. Loved that you can install apps on the TV, so I could watch a live TV channel from home and watch the news. So cool! Fast Wi-Fi.

Convenient location close to the lake, this historic tavern had a lot of charm. The large living/dining area had lots of light and a huge table for seating. The kitchen was very functional and had all we needed to cook meals. The bedrooms were all spacious and had comfortable beds with lots of natural light. The sauna was a lovely addition especially after a long day of hiking.
