Spectacular location, direct view to the ocean and islands from your room. There is even a small private beach with a picnic table for good weather, a short walk below. A very functional studio, with a lot of small details to make your stay more comfortable. Fully furnished kitchen with a possibility of self-catering. Comfortable parking right beside the building. About 20 minutes walking distance to the village of Tully Cross with a restaurant and a pub. There is a proper pavement along the road there (not so obvious in Ireland), so it is safe to walk back after dark after enjoying a few beers in the pub. Great base for exploring Connemara, Killary Fjord and the adjacent coast (a car is a must).

Beautiful manor by the lake. Location couldn’t be better. I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

I just loved our welcome, the comfort of our room and the wonderful breakfast the following morning. The situation is remarkable, with views across the lakes and the mountains. It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

The house is just great, wonderfully comfortable, very clean, well equipped, very well decorated, you feel right at home. It is also very quiet. We were lucky enough to see some wonderful sunsets from the living room. Liam and Tina (and Doggy :) ) made us feel very welcome and gave us some very good tips to visit the area, as well as making delicious homemade scones. The location is just perfect to visit all the places in Connemara (Clifden, Sky Road, Diamond hill, the amazing Omey island and so more..).We would have love to stay longer. Highly recommended.

The house is just perfect. It is in the country, surrounded by sheep and chickens and still very near the centre of town. Caroline is a very good host that wants you to have the best stay! I recommend to book this lovely cottage.
