Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

We discover this Lodge in a very quite and green area withgreat views. And then we met the owner - Len - who has a amazing sense of hospitality and upgrade our stay to another level of happiness. We felt directly welcome and this feeling stays there during all our stay. The lodge was also offering and amazing dinner that we enjoyed the 2 nights with high quality food and wines. On top of that, we were surronded by lovely and friendly dogs that my children enjoyed to play with. Definitly a higly recommended place to stay.

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range. The location was perfect and lovely accommodation. Excellent service and a wonderful spa treatment. Highly recommend! Excellent value for money. Good food and choice of wines.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. Our stay at the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve was extraordinary. The scenario is breathtaking, and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. The services are top-notch, and the lodges are luxurious and well-maintained. The organization of the safaris is flawless: we spotted giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos and antelope. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, making the experience even more special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in South Africa's wilderness.

From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
