The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

It has great staff and a beautiful location. We also got free breakfast, dinner and tickets to a museum about the Sami People which was fascinating.

The camp is 3.5 kilometers away from Jukkasjärvi, which makes it perfect to be in a quiet and peaceful place that is still close to the town. The house where I stayed was exactly as displayed on Booking website. It had a comfortable bed, a nice kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a living room. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay away from the city.
