The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Out of all the places in Namibia this was our favourite. The location of the lodge is spektakular!!! The highlight was the tour with Alfred seeing the desert elephants. His knowledge and passion for the elephants and the area (he was born here ) was such an inspiration and we were all touched by his love of home. A memory we will treasure forever. If you are considering this place - just go!!! A memory of a lifetime if you like wilderness.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. One of the best accommodations in Namibia. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We had flat tire and they pointed us to the authorized repair shop and called them for us. Close to Damara Living Museum and Petrified Forest. Food was amazing. Pool was clean and had nice view. Water was not cold like in other pools in Namibia. Room was spacious and bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a buffet breakfast. At Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp you will find a restaurant serving African, Grill BBQ and South African cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. We booked Premium tent it was a bit pricey but everything was good . Bed was comfy , Nice pillow , Hot shower , Spacious . The sunset spot was absolutely stunning . Staff were very friendly and helpful. This maybe one of the best place i’ve ever stayed

Located in Damaraland, Huab Lodge & BushSPA is surrounded by lush vegetation. It features a swimming pool and a natural thermal spring. It has a bar and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Each bungalow at the Huab Lodge features a private veranda overlooking the area and hills. They all have a private bathroom with twin basins and views from the shower. All of them have thatched roofs and typical African decoration. owners on site at all times and very isolated

Located 25 km from Khorixas, Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge offers accommodation set in a semi-circle of interlinking pathways with a swimming pool at the centre.

Each room at Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge has a private garden, air conditioning, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Neat place, nice pool, great staff

Petrified Forest Khorixas is 30 km from the lodge. Lovely place to stay in Damaraland! The tents are clean and spacious with attached toilet and shower, hot water and electricity. The food was excellent, dinner was 250 each and more food than we could eat. Breakfast was great, and they gave us a packed lunch (I think lunch was 200) for our long drive. The staff was incredible, so attentive and helpful, some of the best we’ve had in months of traveling. The camp is away from all lights so it was some of the best star gazing ever. The ownership is brand new (and Namibian) as of September 2025 so take this into account when looking at older reviews online.
