For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

From the moment we arrived at the property, we felt welcomed and at home. With panoramic mountain and garden views from the terrace and spacious common areas, it’s a serene retreat only about a 15–20 minute walk from Kandy’s city center and major attractions. Our communication with the Punya was excellent and she helped as arrange scooter rental and catered to every need we had! One of the true highlights of our stay was Ravi, the most incredibly warm, kind-hearted, and attentive host—and an exceptional chef. From the moment we arrived, Ravi went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, treating us not just as guests, but as family! It’s rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into their work—Ravi truly is the soul of this villa! During our month-long journey across Sri Lanka, we stayed in many places—but No63 Amy’s Villa in Kandy was by far the best accommodation of them all! Can’t recommend it enough!!

Breakfast was so good, I didn't eat lunch. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that's looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

Terletak 4.2km dari Muzium Teh Ceylon, Avons Residence Hanthana menawarkan penginapan dengan lounge berkongsi, teres dan dapur berkongsi untuk kemudahan anda. I cannot recommend this place enough. The villa is dreamy, with breathtaking peaceful surroundings, clean and the owners cannot do enough to make sure you have the best say. Firstly we were collected as our Uber driver got lost, then the owners organised dinner both evenings, took us to the elephant sanctuary and arranged a drive to our next destination. It was a trip we will never forget

Menawarkan teres dan pemandangan gunung, Solitary Cottage Dunhinna terletak di Teldeniya, 25km dari Stadium Kriket Antarabangsa Pallekele dan 38km dari Stadium Bogambara. This was the best staying we have had in two months in Sri Lanka. The house is the perfect size for a couple, everything worked very well and the views were breathtaking. The dog that was living in the garden was super cute. We were so happy with the way Eric was always available for any inquiries we had. Specially recommended the food, we order dinner and it was such a privilege to be able to have a wonderful dinner in the terrace.

This is a very attractive building with large rooms and a great view of the surrounding hills and the southwestern side of Kandy. It’s in a hilly area with a rural feel to it and so local walks are pleasant if you want to take a break from the city.
