We have been travelling for around 6 months (central and South America & now Africa) & this was one of our most enjoyable stays. Extremely relaxing! Agnes & Winnie were brilliant. Agnes went above & beyond for us. If we are ever back in Watamu we will be staying here again - a home away from home!

Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool. We loved the location in the midst of green flowering trees, the pool, the nearby beach, our spacious and comfortable banda, the private outdoor bathroom, the cats, the food, the atmosphere
