The Japanese senior couple managing the pension are genuinely the sweetest people we could have dreamed of. Moomin Papa picked us up at the station at arrival and dropped us off (super early in the morning) after checkout. He drove us and the other guests in the morning to the ski resorts nearby and was also willing to pick us up in the afternoon. He was also great at giving dinner recommendations. The pension is simple and welcoming, breakfast is great and all we needed for a full day on the slopes. The onsen is a bit old but we didn’t mind. If you have very long hair it could take a while to dry with the available hairdryer - just to keep in mind. Rooms are nice and warm and the beds are comfortable. WiFi works well. Overall I would say it was a beautiful stay, the hosts and their care in everything they did made the experience 100 times better. Highly recommend!

Great food and social atmosphere for guests. Very quiet and laid back, perfect spot if you're looking to hit the slopes all day and get a good night's rest. Transfers to and from the hills are absolutely mint. Thanks Myoko team, I'll be back next year!

Terletak 32km dari Kuil Zenkoji, Myoko House menyediakan penginapan dengan restoran, bar dan dapur berkongsi untuk kemudahan anda. Nathan and the staff were very helpful, and made Myoko House feel like home during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the gyoza hot pot was mouth watering.

Terletak di Myoko, 29km dari Kuil Zenkoji dan 31km dari Stesen Nagano, Drifter Myoko mempunyai pemandangan gunung dan WiFi percuma. Drifter Myoko menawarkan sarapan bufet atau kontinental. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

The house and staff was awesome, they were very helpful with everything we needed. It was epic to have the shuttles from the staff around town to go to dinner or go snowboarding or anything else we needed. Breakfast in the morning sharp at 7:30 got our day started right! Legend inn was the best, would happily stay here again!

The staff are awesome, make you feel at home and the entire vibe of the place is really relaxed. Big shout out to Dougie and the whole crew (sorry I didn't get everyone's names but they all remembered mine =)). The bartenders make great drinks, the drinks are priced really well (it's always happy hour), and the breakfast is solid every morning. The other facilities here are great for skiers/boarders. The dry room and waxing stations have everything and plenty of room for many guests. And a soak in their onsen was great every evening after ripping the slopes.

The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.
