Very clean and tidy. Close to Goryu ski resort, walkable distance although it’s a bit uphill. Otherwise you can take a shuttle. Nice breakfast too, you can also tell the owner if you have foot allergy so that can arrange suitable food for you.

Very helpful & lovely hosts. The onsen is great. Papa was happy to give us a lift. He even brought our bags to the train station when we missed the bus back from the snow monkeys.

The lodge was perfect for our group! Mr Chen was a great host, communicated with us before arrival to make sure we could get to the lodge from the bus station. He cooked us a great breakfast every morning of our stay and went above and beyond for our group. Highly recommend!

Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. This family run ryokan is great value for money and the hosts go above and beyond for their guests! We had an amazing weekend, attending Fuji Rock festival in the vicinity with the hotel offering us free shuttle service to and from the nearest train station and tips about the surrounding area.

Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍

Taka and his wife are brilliant hosts. My family and friends have been coming here over the years and it was a highlight to stay here. The Onsens are fantastic after a day on the slopes, as well as relaxing in the cosy lounge room. Can't wait to be back!

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge mempunyai pemandangan gunung, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Yamanouchi, 20km dari Taman Jigokudani Monkey. MOKO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meals were amazing. Would come back a million times over.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. The pension has a lovely onsen built into the main building we truly love soaking in at the end of an active day on the slopes. It's the perfect way to close the day. The couple who run the Pension are such nice, helpful people. Especially when it comes to organising/interfacing with travel for day trips or even grocery shopping. 100% recommend
