We booked our 2 night jungle trek directly with Green Travelodge, and we are sooo glad we did. We had the BEST experience in the jungle. Omar and Jon, our guides, knew the jungle and animals so well. We saw soooo much: orangutans, gibbons, pig-tailed macaque, lots of small critters and birds.. and so much more. It was a dream. Adan, the chef, was a magician. He made the best meals we have ever had.. the three guys became like family. We are so happy we booked here.. and will definitely be back soon.

From here we saw orangutans, gibbons, monkeys, langurs, butterflies and birds without having to move. It includes breakfast, and in the restaurant they serve the best curry in town! The staff always attend you with a smile and are willing to help you with whatever you need at all times, we leave with a full heart, thank you very much Pepen, Lina, Inaka, Dani, Rini, Safii, Kolik, Pindo, Ifan and of course Riko (we have a chess match pending, the definition) And if you want to do the tour and enter the national park to explore the wonders of the incredible jungle of Sumatra, well, I must say that here they have the most professional team of all! We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the jungle, with the best guides in Bukit Lawang: Rio and Jerry! They accompany you, teach you and take care of you, they care about protecting the environment and the surroundings, proud of their culture and with a smile all day, attentive to us living one of the best experiences of our entire trip through Southeast Asia. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or river views. People working at the lodge were very kind and helpful as well as the monkey trekking which was organised in an awesome way

Situated in Bukit Lawang, On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Indonesian and international cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

Situated in Andalas, 50 km from Hatta Palace, Livio Homestay features accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi and room service. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge. The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.

A water park is available on site and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Small apartment with private bathroom and western shower. Balcony with Sea view. Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.

With city views, Palanta Roemah Kajoe Syariah Villa is set in Kampungdurian and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and polite. I am actually so impress with Padang's people hospitality. They are so welcoming its makes me feel so bad😅😅. The room is nice and the environment is very peaceful. The food ia good. Tea and coffee served in the cafe is sooo good I forgot to ask and buy some to take home.
