I found myself looking forward to mealtime each day! The location couldn’t be better: next to stunning mountains and just a stone's throw away from the beach. A very calm and peaceful location at the end of a dead end street. The free use of bicycles was very handy for short distances and for longer distances we cheapily rented scooters. But also the ecolodge itself was astonishing with a swimming pool for refreshment on hot days. Overall, this place offers a perfect blend of relaxing, convenience, and community. I definitely recommend it!

We chose the Sacred Beji to enjoy its calm jungle surroundings and it did not disappoint. The setting was very private and we enjoyed the use of the pool (shared by two villas) almost exclusively for ourselves. The staff at Sacret Beji was ready to help us with anything - Ami in particular made the extra effort and assisted us with various requests including booking us an amazing massage at the premises. The Jackfruit Restaurant, which is part of the larger complex, had a large variety of food, and everything we tried there was delicious. We explored the surrounding areas by scooters but anyone can easily hire cheap taxis to get around - Ubud is about 30 minutes south and Mt Batur is about 45 minutes north :)

The family takes care of everything with kindness and love, always with a smile and true generosity of spirit. The food is excellent and abundant, and it’s clear that everything is made with love - from the garden’s care to every grain of rice on the plate. There’s a private stream you can bathe in, and plenty of nearby trails to explore. The scenery is breathtaking and the area feels truly authentic.

The food was excellent and the service even better! The bedroom was very nice and cozy, but wait until you enter the bathroom - it’s next level!

The villa we stayed in was clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom with a hot shower. The WiFi was good and smart TV worked perfectly. The town is around 15 minutes by scooter. We will be back one day.
